Bidding Policy
1. Eligibility to Bid
To place a bid on BidWheels.net, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Provide valid contact information (name, email, phone number)
- Provide valid payment information (credit card or bank transfer details)
- Agree to these terms and conditions
2. How Bidding Works
All bids placed on BidWheels.net are final and binding. By placing a bid, you agree to purchase the vehicle at the bid amount if you are the winning bidder.
- Minimum Bid: Each auction has a starting price. All bids must be at least $1 higher than the current highest bid.
- Bid Increments: Bids must follow the minimum increment rules displayed on each product page.
- Bid Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation after placing a bid.
- Outbid Notifications: If someone outbids you, you will receive an email notification.
3. Bid Retraction
Bids cannot be retracted once placed. Please bid carefully. In exceptional circumstances (e.g., typographical error in bid amount), you may contact support within 1 hour of placing the bid.
4. Automatic Bidding
BidWheels.net may use automated bidding to simulate real user activity and maintain an active marketplace. These system-generated bids follow the same rules as user bids.
5. Bid Disputes
In case of a dispute, the timestamp of the bid determines the winner. All bids are recorded with precise timestamps.
Important: Bidding on BidWheels.net constitutes a legally binding agreement to purchase the vehicle if you win the auction.
Reserved Product Policy
1. What is a Reserved Product?
An administrator may mark a product as "Reserved" at any time. This means the product is no longer available for bidding and has been set aside for a specific buyer or purpose.
2. When is a Product Reserved?
- The product has met its reserve price and the seller accepts the current bid
- The product is sold outside the platform
- The product has quality issues discovered during inspection
- The seller decides to end the auction early
3. What Happens When a Product is Reserved?
- All active bidding stops immediately
- The "Place Bid" button is hidden from all users
- A "RESERVED" badge is displayed prominently on the product page
- No new bids can be placed
- The current highest bidder (if any) will be notified
4. If You Were the Highest Bidder When Product Was Reserved
If you were the highest bidder at the time a product is marked as reserved:
- You will receive an email notification explaining the situation
- Your bid amount will not be charged
- You will not be obligated to complete the purchase
- Your payment information on file will remain secure
Winning Bid Policy
1. Determining the Winner
The bidder with the highest bid at the auction end time is declared the winner. In case of identical bid amounts, the earliest bid wins.
2. Winner Notification
Winners are notified via email within 1 hour of auction completion. The email contains:
- Product details and final bid amount
- Payment instructions and deadline
- Next steps for completing the purchase
3. Payment Requirements
The winning bidder must complete payment within 48 hours of auction end. Payment methods accepted:
- Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
- Bank Transfer (wire transfer)
- Other methods as displayed on the payment page
Important: Failure to complete payment within 48 hours may result in cancellation of the sale and potential account suspension.
4. Payment Confirmation
After submitting payment information, you will receive a confirmation email. Our team will verify the payment within 24-48 hours.
5. Seller Obligations
Once payment is confirmed, the seller must:
- Prepare the vehicle for pickup or shipping
- Provide all necessary documentation (title, service records, etc.)
- Coordinate delivery within 7 business days
6. Buyer's Responsibilities
The winning bidder is responsible for:
- Arranging vehicle pickup or delivery
- Paying any applicable taxes, fees, or shipping costs
- Completing the transaction within the specified timeframe
- Inspecting the vehicle upon delivery
7. Default by Winner
If the winning bidder fails to complete payment within 48 hours:
- The sale will be canceled
- The product may be offered to the second-highest bidder
- The user may be suspended from future bidding
- Negative feedback may be recorded on the user's account
8. Disputes
If you believe you were incorrectly declared the winner or have concerns about the product, contact support within 24 hours of auction end.
