Released in 2016 for the North American market, the third generation of Audi's TT is a chiseled and modernized version of the brand's original iconic sports car. As with previous generations, the 8S TT employs aluminum structural components and bodywork and features small back seats and a versatile rear hatch space. The TT RS sits at the top of the TT food chain, combining Audi's famous turbocharged 5-cylinder engine and an RS-specific chassis setup with astonishing results, both in straight-line performance and handling.
Power comes from a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-5, rated at 394 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque in stock form. Due to the modifications performed to this TT RS, it may produce more power, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive system.
