Built in Arizona, the Air is the first car released by California-based Lucid Motors. A large, graceful, electric sedan with a distinctly French-inspired exterior design and an equally stunning, light-filled interior, the Air focuses on luxury and performance to take on Porsche's Taycan and Tesla's Model S. Production began in 2021 and continues today.
Power comes from a pair of electric motors, which draw electricity from a 118-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack to zap the four wheels with 1,111 horsepower. The EPA gave the Air Performance a maximum driving range estimate of 471 miles when equipped with 19-inch wheels.
